Job Title: Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant (Full-Time)

Location: Freeport / DeFuniak Springs Area Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: Negotiable (please include salary requirements)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant needed immediately in the Freeport/DeFuniak Springs area. This position is responsible for managing all aspects of day-to-day accounting operations and providing administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Full-cycle accounting including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)
  • Daily use of QuickBooks Online
  • Coding and categorizing a high volume of transactions using an extensive chart of accounts
  • Utilizing Class tracking to produce multi-departmental Profit & Loss statements
  • Preparing timely and accurate financial reports to meet Board of Directors (BOD) deadlines
  • Minor cash handling
  • Provides general administrative support for President and Chief Operating Officer

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three (3) years of accounting experience
  • Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
  • Experience creating and managing multi-departmental financials
  • High attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work with a sense of urgency
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
